Children are a delight to photograph. They are so honest and enjoy sharing a bit of themselves with you. They have many personalities and delight in showing them off. Put a camera in front of a child, and they will meet it's challenge. They automatically begin to play and dance in their hearts. I love to capture the mischief and charm that each child longs to share. So often daily life interferes with a parent seeing and preserving their child's growth. They get to a day when they realize they've forgotten to capture the wonder of these childhood days in professional portraits. If I had one wish for parents, it would be that they schedule a professional photography session for their children and family on a regular basis, just as they do doctor and dentist appointments.
